October 2018 Plugfest Date Announcement
Following the successful WITS Plugfest in January 2018 (see the article on the WITS website ), I would like to invite you to the next WITS Plugfest hosted by Thames Water in Reading on Tuesday 9th October 2018.
The plugfest in January was the first time we opened the event to both WITS vendors and WITS users, this was successful and will be repeated again this October. To facilitate this, the plugfest will be held the day before the WITS User Meeting, thus allowing users to attend both meetings more efficiently. The WITS Plugfest will be held on Tuesday 9th October 2018 at 100 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, Reading, Berkshire RG2 6GP. The WITS User Meeting (which is for WITS Users only) will also be held in Reading and will be the following day on Wednesday 10th October 2018.
Both Master Station manufacturers have indicated they will be attending, so I have now opened up the invitation to all vendors and users.
There will be an updated WITS IoT demo and we may have the initial set of core regression tests (against current FD and Master versions).
Thames Water will be demonstrating their deployment of WITS devices and the applications.
Please could you let Russ Wheadon know if you plan on attending. In the case of vendors, please indicate what device(s) you will be bringing; the version of the device; the version of WITS that it supports; and whether there is anything you would particularly like to see tested.
Once Russ has gathered this information, he will email attendees with a more detailed plan of the day.
